BRYC is a year-round arts organization which is a feeder program for school music departments and increases Home School options for music curriculum.
Goals for youth attending will include learning & performing new songs, having fun, meeting new people, forming friendships, improving self esteem, posture and improving self-confidence.
Cynthia brings over 40 years of music leadership as a community choir director, bible school director and church musician. She most recently was Shelby High School’s choral assistant and is currently the director of music at the First Presbyterian Church in Shelbyville.
Cindy brings 30 years of private music studio teaching, 18 years of music teaching at St. Joseph Catholic School and Morristown High School, and many years of non-profit management experience, serving as Managing Director of Shelby County Players since 2010. Cindy has a BA in Communications with a Minor in Music from Millikin University with teaching license and accreditation from Indiana Wesleyan University and Marion University.

Meredith Hall, general music specialist at Coulston Elementary School in Shelbyville, Indiana, graduated from Millikin University with a Bachelor of Music Education and a minor in church music. She has spent her career sharing her love of music with schools, churches, and private students. From the musical theater stage to award winning show choirs, nothing brings her more joy than sharing her love of music with others.
Debbie Stafford started piano lessons when she was 7 years old and hasn’t stopped playing. A Music Education graduate of University of Indianapolis, Debbie recently retired after 40 years of teaching elementary music in IPS, Shelbyville, Morristown and Waldron. Additionally, she was Choir Director at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church for 13 years and has returned to Waldron Baptist church where she is in her 27th year as pianist.
Frances received her BA in music education from the University of Indianapolis and her Master’s from Indiana University as well as additional graduate work from Butler University and IUPUI. She taught elementary music for 42 years, directed church choirs for 15 years and is actively directing the Blue River Community Choir.
Patrick is a 2016 Music Education graduate from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and has worked with organizations throughout the central and southern Indiana region. An accomplished pianist and singer, he has received numerous awards and acknowledgements through the Shelbyville High School music department, Indiana State School Music Association, and Jacobs School of Music. More recently, he has worked as section leader and soloist with the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus and as a private instructor.
Christie received her BA in music education from the University of Indianapolis and her Master’s from Indiana University as well as additional graduate work from Butler University and IUPUI. She taught music for 40 years at Triton Central Schools. She has been the pianist and choir director for more than 30 years at New Life United Methodist Church.
